Fall Frair Trade Gift Guide

It's every Tumblr, Pinterest, VSCO and Instagram girl's favorite time of year. FALL.

With the change in season comes the mass amounts of warm colors, scents and fall-specific goodies back into everyday life. Whether you're looking to buy something for yourself or someone you love, here is a quick list of our top pick, fair trade items at The Hope Shop that would be perfect for this fall!

Thankful Card

Created on-site by our head graphic designer, Hannah, these cards are perfect for all things gratitude. appreciation, and love. The sales made from these cards go back into our programs here at Hands Producing Hope to support the local refugee women who create our other products such as keychains and jewelry, as well as the women in our maternal and literacy programs abroad.

Acorn Earrings

The clay acorn earrings are super cute, festive and little... very mindful, very demure. They are created in shop by local Baton Rouge refugee partner, Layla. The proceeds, like our Thankful Card, go back into our programs, giving these women dignified work in their new lives here in the United States.

Pumpkin Clove Candle

When thinking of fall, who doesn't think of all things pumpkin spice? I am a huge pumpkin spice girl, so this excites me greatly. Created by Freedom Studios, this candle has notes of cinnamon, nutmeg, pumpkin and clove. It's a cotton wick and soy blended wax that is created and poured in Sioux Falls, SD by women human-trafficking survivors.

Adelaide tiered Midi Dress Cinnamon

Fighting the conventional industry standards, Mata Traders fights for fair trade fashion. Mata Traders partners with Indian artisans, ensuring that their products are ethically-made. This dress is the epitome of fall  the warm color, midi length, sleeves, hidden pockets and all.

Sweater Weather Hang Sign

The Sweater Weather Hang Sign is created by artisans in Kenya through Imani + Kids. Imani + Kids has the main goal in giving artisans dignified work in hopes to elevate the economic development and eliminate poverty in Kenya. Their effort is much like ours here at Hands Producing Hope—providing work, wages, skills, education and community to those who need assistance in improving their current situations.

That's basically it! A quick rundown on our top picks for this fall's fair trade gift guide. There is plenty more, though; so check out our website or visit us in store for more fall products.
