Our series Friday Feature will introduce you to one of our beautiful, hardworking artisans, and give you a little glimpse of her story and how joining Hands Producing Hope has changed her life and the lives of those around here.

CECILIA

Before joining Hands Producing Hope, Cecilia provided for her family by planting beans. She raises her three grandchildren and those beans were all she had to give them.

After joining our cooperative on Nkombo Island, Cecilia is now thriving and providing a steady income for her family. She weaves our beautiful woven totes from grass, all lined with traditional African fabric on the inside.
